One Month Update: First Floor

It's been a very busy few weeks. We started painting the day we closed on the house and haven't stopped since  Here is the one month update of what we've done in the house.

Foyer Before:

In Progress: Still needs to be painted but we did replace the ugly brass light fixtures.

Office Before:

In Progress: Painted room in Frosted Jade from Behr and replaced the window coverings with Janette curtains from Ikea.

Dining Room Before:

In Progress: Painted in Lap Pool Blue by Behr and changed curtains to Janette from Ikea.

One last look of these lovelies! I adore these curtains and somewhat wish I could make them work for the rest of the house.

 Half-Bath Before:

In Progress: Painted Lap Pool Blue and some accessories added.

Family Room Before:

In Progress: Painted in Dark Pewter by Behr and everything added!

Love my couch and cushions!

Breakfast Nook Before:

In Progress: Painted in French Silver by Behr and added furniture.

Kitchen Before:

In Progress: Painted in French Silver by Behr with new fridge and wine cooler.

Up next on the list of updates for the first floor is switching out all the kitchen cabinet hardware and spray painting the door hardware. Then it's one to the big projects: painting the cabinets, adding backsplash, adding granite and switching out the rest of the appliances to stainless steel.

    1. I bought the couch at Cort Furniture Clearance Center, which sells furniture that has been used in home stagings and corporate apartments at discounted prices. We bought the family room, bedroom and breakfast room furniture from them, all 3 rooms for $2000!

2 of the cushions are from Crate and Barrel and the chevron striped one is from HomeGoods.
